As a Character Counts school, Nuffer focuses on six values we want to instill in all of our students: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. While we spotlight a character each month, we are always encouraging our students to be good citizens by helping others. This month, we kick off Jump Rope for Heart, an American Heart Association program that teaches students the importance of heart-healthy habits while also raising funds to support cardiovascular research! Last year, our students raised $1,500 toward this worthy cause. This year our goal is to raiser over $1,700. Our students’ fundraising efforts will conclude with a Jump Rope for Heart Day on February 11th! All parents are invited to come participate in heart healthy activities with their children during Jump Rope for Heart or parents can be volunteers - sign up now! Good citizenship is a win for everyone!
